 As we navigate the intricate pathways of our life journey, the ups and the downs, we are gifted with countless opportunities to cross paths with truly beautiful spirits—kindred souls and guiding lights whose presence enriches and empowers our existence. Within the profound wisdom of First Nation traditions, a fundamental protocol reminds us to consistently approach these connections with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit grounded in humility. It is a sacred honour and a vital responsibility to recognize, respect, and uplift our precious Elders and cherished Wisdom Keepers who selflessly share their teachings and guide us through life’s complexities. By acknowledging their invaluable role and showing sincere appreciation for the light they shine upon our path, we not only honour them but also foster deeper, more meaningful connections that nourish our collective human spirit and perpetuate a legacy of respect, honour, truth and interconnectedness.
